Ayurvedic Excellence

Ayurveda is a natural system of medicine which originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Thus, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life. Based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance or stress in a person's consciousness, Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment.

In today’s fast paced high pressure modern world, stress and burnout are becoming an epidemic. Nearly 60 percent of people in the world experience physical symptoms caused by urban pressures, stress, sleep deprivation, over exposure to media, financial pressures, poor nutrition, work pressure, relationship problems & pollution hazards are all causing serious health issues. Ironically enough, people are turning to quick fixes instead of dealing with the underlying problems and accordingly end up in a spiral of bad health and compromising well being. This also applies to the various skin and hair issues people face.

Today, Ayurveda in personal care has assumed many faces. Many personal care companies, brands have tried to align themselves with the Ayurveda philosophy and procedures just to gain brand value but in reality do not practice it in spirit. They have little regard for the importance of right ingredients, right mix, understanding the core issues and right procedures mentioned in the ancient Ayurvedic texts.

We wanted to change this. Therefore we have made the following 3 pillars as the basis of our Ayurvedic Philosophy and practice :

3 Pillars of our Ayurvedic Philosophy and Practice
